Benjamin E. Schmidt, Associate

Experience

Mr. Schmidt concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy, banking law, and general civil litigation representing corporations, individuals, and financial institutions in both state and federal courts.

Prior to joining Weir & Partners LLP, Mr. Schmidt was an associate with a regional Philadelphia based law firm practicing in general civil liability and commercial litigation. While in law school, Mr. Schmidt interned for the Honorable Jacob P. Hart, Magistrate Judge, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.


Bar Admissions

Mr. Schmidt is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also admitted to appear before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.


Education

Mr. Schmidt is a 2007 graduate of the Villanova University School of Law. He is also a 2001 graduate from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts concentrating in Diplomatic History and Political Science.
