Kiera McGroarty is an associate attorney experienced with handling general civil litigation and professional liability matters.
In 2014, Kiera graduated summa cum laude from the University of Scranton earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Finance. Kiera went on to attend Rutgers University Law School where she was a Dean’s Academic Excellence Scholar and graduated cum laude. As the class president, Kiera delivered the Rutgers Law School Class of 2017 commencement speech. Kiera has been recognized for her legal writing and advocacy skills and served as a Legal Writing teaching assistant, and Lead New Developments Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion. Kiera was published in the fall 2015 edition.
Prior to joining Weir & Partners, Kiera was an associate at Marshall Dennehey where she worked in the firm’s casualty and health care departments. Kiera enjoys utilizing her strong analytical and advocacy skills to obtain favorable resolutions for clients.
Kiera is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association, and involved in the Burlington County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers committee. In her free time, Kiera enjoys trying Philly’s great restaurants and spending summers at the Jersey shore.
