However, we stand ready to pursue other avenues for collection, including litigating issues related to the above in state, federal and bankruptcy courts. Our attorneys’ collective experience on both the creditor and debtor side enables us to understand all facets of a problem or opportunity, and to structure creative, informed and practical solutions to protect and advance our clients’ interests.
In the area of creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, members of the firm have represented financial institutions in matters of national and local significance. Weir & Partners also has substantial expertise in representing commercial debtors, creditors committees, purchasers and litigants in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 cases throughout the mid-Atlantic states. The firm has served as counsel to trustees in Chapter 11 and 7 cases in Delaware and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
